Get Started in Under 2 Minutes
Step 1 – Enable the camera interface:sudo raspi-config → Interface Options → Camera → <Enable>
Step 2 – Power off the Pi. Insert the FPC ribbon into the camera port (gold contacts facing up, notched corner aligned with pin 1). Press firmly until the latch clicks.
Step 3 – Power on and capture your first frame:libcamera-still -o photo.jpg --width 2592 --height 1944
💡 Tip: For AI workloads, run libcamera-jpeg -t 30000 -o stream.jpg to stream 30-second JPEG clips directly into your OpenCV or YOLO pipeline.
